The Crow offers you the opportunity to find your personal comedic voice and point of view! This course helps you write your own material and learn the concepts of joke structure, building a story, premise, and punch line all while building confidence in public speaking and communication. We work on stage presence, finding courage to keep going when the going gets rough, thinking on your feet, and finding the funny! This 6 week course meets once a week for 3 hours, culminating in a public stand-up/storytelling show on The Crow's main stage.

For students who have already taken Stand-Up 101 at The Crow, this class will help you to further define and cultivate your personal comedic voice and point of view! This advanced course builds on the work you've done in Stand-Up 101 and explores other, more nuanced aspects of stand-up. This 4 week course meets once a week for 3 hours, culminating in a public stand-up/storytelling show on The Crow's main stage.

This course builds off of the lessons learned in Stand Up 101 and 201 and helps you iron out the nitty gritty of your jokes, hone your stage persona, and punch ups the jokes you already have in a writers room setting!  This 6 week course meets once a week for 3 hours, culminating in a public stand-up show on The Crow’s Main Stage.
